Empower Connector

MYOB EXO Job Cost ↔ Empower

One two-way connector: qualifying MYOB EXO Job Cost jobs go to Empower, and completed labour time returns to the EXO Job Costing Timesheet.

Confirmed process

How it works

  1. Step 1

EXO Job Cost job reaches the nominated status

Status N (New Job) in the standard setup

  2. Step 2

    Empower job created

Job, customer, delivery and due-date details, plus output items or labour requirements as configured

  3. Step 3

    Labour time returns to EXO

Completed labour time posts to the EXO Job Costing Timesheet on a scheduled sync

The Empower Job ID is recorded in the EXO Job Cost header for tracking. Returned time can use employee/resource-specific stock codes and rates, or one default labour stock code and flat rate, depending on configuration.

What it does

A single two-way program for businesses running jobs through MYOB EXO Job Costing. When a job reaches the nominated status (status N, New Job, in the standard setup) it is sent to Empower with customer, delivery and due-date details, plus the configured production output items or labour requirements. After a successful transfer the EXO job moves to status I and the Empower Job ID is retained in EXO for tracking. Completed labour time captured in Empower returns to the EXO Job Costing Timesheet on a scheduled sync, using employee/resource-specific stock codes and rates or one default labour stock code and flat rate, depending on configuration.

  • Two-way: EXO Job Cost to Empower, labour time back to EXO
  • Sends jobs when they reach the nominated status (N in the standard setup)

  • Empower Job ID retained in EXO for tracking

  • Employee/resource-specific or default labour stock codes and rates

How implementation works

  1. 1Configure the standard workflowXenia Suite configures the agreed standard workflow for your systems.
  2. 2Synchronise the test environmentsData is synchronised from a test ERP environment to a test Empower environment.
  3. 3Confirm the resultYour team confirms that the configured result suits the agreed process.
  4. 4Quote changes separatelyAnything outside the standard setup is scoped and quoted before work begins.

One ERP, multiple factories

One ERP can support multiple factories through the same integration framework. Once the core integration is established, an additional factory can typically be configured in around two hours, depending on its workflow and site requirements.

Allow approximately three hours for a standard ERP-to-Empower connector setup where relevant.

Modifications and additional work

Additional mappings, extra fields or workflow changes to suit how your business works are quoted separately before any work begins. Extra companies or databases, test environments, historical data, data cleanup, training and any third-party fees are also quoted separately.
